1. Canvas prints quality

Our canvas prints are made using museum-quality materials, printed with high-resolution pigment-based ink that ensures vibrant colors and sharp details. Each piece is hand-stretched on a durable wooden frame, giving it a professional gallery-style look. Please note that the standard canvas edge option is a preselected solid color, chosen by us.

2. The creative process

At Art by North, every piece begins with a deep respect for craft. We combine analogue and digital tools to create artworks that feel both tactile and contemporary. Many backgrounds and elements are handcrafted with ink, watercolor or gouache - each carrying the beauty of human touch. These handmade elements are then woven into a digital canvas, using a Wacom tablet and a carefully curated library of brushes and textures. The result is a seamless fusion between the traditional and the digital. This interdisciplinary approach is at the heart of our work - a dialogue between traditional artistry and modern experimentation, allowing each piece to exist somewhere between the tangible and the imagined.

3. Where we're based

Art by North is a small studio based in Norway. The studio's practice explores the intersection of art, design and illustration - translating northern sensibilities into bold visual statements. Each piece is crafted with attention to detail, contrast and a distinctly contemporary edge.

4. Shipping

We currently ship to Norway, the EU, UK, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. Each print is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery to your doorstep.

5. Order tracking & Delivery

Every order includes a tracking number, allowing you to follow your artwork from the moment it leaves our studio to its arrival at your door. You'll receive tracking details by email as soon as your shipment is dispatched. We typically ship orders within 7-15 business days.

6. Damages & Replacements

Each artwork is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. In the rare event that your piece is damaged in transit, please document the issue by photographing the artwork and its packaging as soon as it arrives. Send the images and your order details within five days of delivery, and our studio will arrange a replacement at no additional cost. If a replacement is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

7. Return policy

Each piece is produced especially for you, in your chosen format and finish. As every print is made to order, returns are not possible after production. In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, custom-made or personalized goods are exempt from the standard right of return, as they are produced specifically for order. Should your artwork arrive damaged, we'll ensure a swift replacement.

8. Color Accuracy

Our artworks are produced using professionally calibrated printers to ensure rich, true-to-life color and fine detail. Subtle variations may occur between on-screen previews and physical prints, depending on individual monitor settings and ambient light.

9. Display & mounting

All our canvas prints come ready to hang, with a pre-installed hanging system. You just need a simple nail or screw to place it on your wall.

10. Bulk Orders

We're happy to offer special pricing for collectors, interior projects or corporate spaces purchasing multiple pieces. Each request is hand-led individually to ensure the right format, framing and delivery options for your needs.
